Phase 1

I’ve uploaded a phase 1 of Party Business.

My 3D modeling is still very limited. If you look closely, you’ll see almost everything is a 2D shape (made in Illustrator) with an extrusion applied.

The combination of playing with that extrusion method of modeling and the “Party” theme, I made a birthday cake. (Because a cake is basically cylinders, and cylinders are extruded circles.) I’m pleased with the little touch of the flickering candle flames and how they react to the cake’s movement.

For a little while I was thinking it would just be a racing game, but now I’m leaning towards something more like Pac-Man, where you run around grabbing presents while pursued by forks who want to eat you. (Because you are a cake.)

Phase 1 has fork characters but their behaviour isn’t all there. I plan to work on waypoints and the fork’s movement until I’m satisfied with how that works, then add the ability to collect presents.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Finished work on the emotions of a new character for the tank universe

Showing off player 2 😎

What do you think?

Why walk when you can jump?

Spaaaace~

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

I mostly build 3D First Person Shooter game mechanics in Unity, and in this I'm just showing C4 mechanics I made for a little side project I am working on! :)
