Plan for 2018


Hey all.

With 2017 coming to an end, I feel it’s a good time to pretty much lay out what the plan is for the game going into the next year.

As of right now, the game is sort of like a half finished jigsaw puzzle: I have the edges assembled, and a bit of the inside, but there’s still a hefty chunk still missing. This will be the year that the puzzle is completed.

What needs to still be added:

-Remaining nights

Really important to the title, as well as finishing up the story being played out between the player and the phone guy.

-“Modern” animatronics

Up to now you’ve only had to face off against their older, partially burnt counterparts. While dealing with them is manageable, they are only (roughly) half of the roster you have to fend off… and the new ones are in much better condition.

-????? ????????

It is rather odd that they decided to store an old arcade cabinet in the office…

-Voice acting

While it wouldn’t be impossible for me to fill in, it would be better to get some help in this area. (Especially since a few of the animatronics rely on sound to track.)

I will deal with this at a later date, but hopefully we’ll get some terrifying incredible voiced characters!

-Extra content

Miscellaneous content to complete the experience. Some of it might be tips, some of it might be general “glitches” in the cameras. Who knows?

So that is a quick setup of what is planned to happen with the game. If everything works out, I hope to release the game as soon as late January/ early February.

A little something special (Happy 3rd Anniversary, FNaF!)

It is almost time...

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

Back on track

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

New project is having a fun, early outing.
