Sometimes by walking around you'll stumble upon a set of stairs that will only show up once you're on top of them. If you choose to go down these stairs, you'll be able to encounter either a strong unique enemy or find some good items, sometimes both.
The glitchroute is where you encounter purple glitches and do such amazing things as clipping out of the map, losing all your party members, every enemy breaking, and a strange entity appearing in your party that you cannot get rid of. This route starts in Etenia and will carry out the entire game if you start it.
To avoid starting the glitchroute, just don't interact with the glitch in Etenia, and you'll be able to play the game as Fazent intended.
