Alright, let's get to the point...
Yes, I am making this for more than just giving an update, and yes, I also have some bad news. Now, before I get into the games I am currently working on, you might have noticed how I removed certain 'posts' from my account. That is for reason, as I believe these posts don't serve any meaning anymore. The posts in question were devlogs about games I was working on, but since I revamped my ideas for the games, these are no longer accurate.
And I will be honest here...
Wonderland Delusion 2
I talked about this game a few times to my trust old pal @Zrox-Games . The amount of times I have tried to make this game work is insane, however, I could not. For some reason, I could not find myself to work on this game. The reason? Well, that is because I don't see all good in its predecessor. Wonderland Delusion is a bit... messy, to be honest. Still, not a bad game. And while that is not the only reason, Wonderland Delusion 2 could not work because my opinions and mindset on game development have changed. These new thoughts and opinions have changed how I view my games now and corrupted my development on a possible sequel to Wonderland Delusion.
I don't care about FNaF anymore. There I said it. FNaF is not a bad series, quite the opposite, it is the series of games I grew up with. However, it has changed too much over the years. The FNaF we know now, is not the one little me is so familiar with. I know I am not alone with that. So, since Wonderland Delusion is a FNaF fan game, it is fair to say that I no longer enjoy what I did with the first game. Confusing lore, gameplay and overall A.I. all no longer fit my current view on games anymore.
I know that my best mate @Zrox-Games is quite the opposite to this. He DOES still very much enjoy FNaF, jump scares and stuff like Wonderland Delusion. For me though...
This is the very soul reason I cannot bring myself to complete this, so anyone who wants to see a Wonderland Delusion 2, I'm sorry to disappoint, but it is not coming... ever.
With that being said, that doesn't mean I will never make any fan games anymore. I can still cooperate with @Zrox-Games for possible future FNaF fan games, but for my stand-alone games... I doubt it. If you've come here for FNaF, you're in the wrong place and I suggest you'd leave. My inspiration is with games like Undertale and Deltarune, so if these are your interest, or anything else retro-esc, then you're welcome to come along.
I prefer a good story, gameplay and proper horror over cheap jump scares and left and right looking gameplay now. I prefer something unique over something OVERDONE. Likewise, I just don't like Mascot-Horror anymore and that is okay, that is my opinion. If any of you DOES, that is no problem. Anyone has their own opinions and thoughts, so don't attack me because I left the FNaF community because of these very reasons. My future games aren't ever going to be perfect, but they do have a different goal, one that does not fit with old FNaF fan game.
Speaking of future games...
So beside the sad talk up there, what AM I making then...?
It shouldn't come as a surprise that I am very invested in Finnerroo and his story. A little while ago I actually managed to talk to his brother (John) who was very kind about the animation I made for him. So, with that being said...
I am making a game about him. I have a name in mind and a great concept and idea that fits my new style of game development, so this one IS actually proceeding properly. A project I have a LOT of motivation for. I have been wanting to make this for a while now, and I am finally able to, so here we are. So, whilst I am not going to reveal anything crazy about it, even the name, you can just dub it "The Finnerroo Game" for now, until the name is revealed. The game will have a beautiful and effective story, with environments focussing on Finn and his memories. I did a lot of research about Finn for this one, so I hope I managed to capture his thoughts and who he was nicely.
Again, I will not be revealing anything yet so you will have to wait for now. I'll update you all once I've got some great news.
That was it for now, yes I am still working on more, like Project Glow, but I have not gotten far enough in those yet to say anything about them. I'll keep it at that for now, again, you'll be updated once I got something for ya.
