Just coming by to say that since SONIC98.nes will be releasing soon, (currently sitting at 99.0% completion), the page for SONIC.NES V1 (THIS very page) will no longer be accessible. It’s self-explanatory, but I’ll be elaborating anyways. SONIC98.nes is a complete remake of SONIC.NES V1, with many improvements and new additions that weren’t in the game originally. SONIC.NES V1 is what we’d call a “released Beta”, implying the game was released in a very unfinished state and left a lot to be desired.
With all that said, please follow the SONIC98.nes page and play the game when it comes out! It’s the definitive SONIC.NES experience. Anywho, this page WILL be delisted on July 31st and I don’t recommend getting SONIC.NES V1 now when a better remake is on the way, but if you really want to, then go ahead. There’s no stopping you.
