For those curious as to why the fuck I attacked at that last turn:

Defend = -113 HP or so roughly. I do not remember if this game has damage variance to be honest, never bothered looking.

(127 - 113) + 75 = 14 + 75 = 89.

Don't forget that, after this hit, he would also hit me once. Ignoring the specific of him having a 5% chance of not (let's be real I'm not landing at that), this was completely certain death.

89 - 75 = 14

(He does a consistent 75 damage, less with DEF+ but I had ran out by then)
