Changes
Dead players now respawn at the start of the next round so you can jump right back into the action.
You can now load custom mod files so custom maps work in the game! This took ages to figure out and opens up a lot of possibilities. I’ll be making a basic tutorial/project download soon so creators can start making maps. For now, an example custom map is now included with the game. This also led to a restructuring of the game files, so I’ll be double-checking everything still works correctly. Multiplayer hasn’t been tested with this yet.
Death no longer instantly ends the game, the match will only finish when no other players are alive.
Tweaked network replication on a couple of key systems to hopefully help with round syncing and weapon spawning on custom maps (fingers crossed this pays off).
AI chase logic now ignores dead players so zombies focus on the living.
Adjusted the default post-processing filter.
Updated the lighting in the Main Menu and Lobby to feel more cohesive.
Player “Female 2” appearance has been updated 🙂
And various other improvements including UI tweaks.
