I think that the "princess" is security girl , they both have blonde hair and are the protagonists, it can't be Vanessa because she appears to be one of the monsters, the game is also free roam, like another upcoming game, my guess is that the game is a mideval version of security breaches overall story, and security girl won't survive it......
