I did like how the protagonist was written realistically and her interactions with other characters felt real. However, I wasn't really fond of the ending with the sudden romance just thrown in there. Felt really out of place, especially since her and the other character started out hating each other and had no chemistry whatsoever. The rich family also taking her in was quite odd as well, but interesting, nonetheless. Hey, it had a secret garden and witches involved.

Probably one of the odder books I read. The author writes in such formal language that you most likely need a dictionary to follow haha. (Continued in article)
