is there a way to make it so my player stops moving and not get stuck?

something tells me my sizing of sword vs goat is off

I thought I would remake BBU demo to learn how to code seen as all I do is music, I am now lost

anyone know a good way to do wall hitboxes, this is my temp fix but lets you clip into the wall

the game is a top down thing if that helps
