It is no news that Rhythm Recall had not been updated on Gamejolt for 20 months now, however production was never ceased. Due to T-mas not making updates on Gamejolt, a lot of you are not familiar with the current state of the game.
The final update the Rhythm Recall Arcade Charting Team had done was the 2024 April Fools update, since then T-mas has halted the development of this project as he has moved to UFRPG. However, due to the intense backlash it had received among the players, he had open sourced the codes of Rhythm Recall (without asking for our permission).
To remede our mistakes, we published our old enngine source code. Everyone can continue to develop Rhythm Recall use the engine code above.

Due to this, in the past year, the game had undergone a massive rework in the codes to make it more maintainable, bug free, and flexible.
The full changelog between version 0.2.2 and 0.3.0 will be available when the game is updated. However here are some of the most notable ones:
Optimization of code
Various bug fixes
Return of achievements, challenges, and shop
New charts
Allows users to import custom charts
Though production of new charts had been slow, if not halted, in the past year, since the codebase is no longer a clustered mess, charting can be resumed. Thus far, 2 new charts have been made and I expect to have at least 1 more finsihed in May, and by extension releasing the first non-beta update in 13 months.

Though I have a few more features I had in mind to further improve the game and let charters be more creative at creating their work, I would also hope that I can release this update as soon as possible to signify that this game is far from dead.
