I've been making some major progress on the game. Playing through the current build, start to finish, is roughly 6 minutes.
Some major accomplishments:
-The Temmie encounter is almost fully complete
-The Game Over screen just needs some minor tweaking, and then it will be complete
-The battle system now has the ability to attack the enemy, and have the enemy attack you
-The dialogue system is, as far as I can tell, fully operational
-The first puzzle is now completely functional
-The intro is mechanically finished (still need to work on sprites for it)
-Keybind options now TECHNICALLY work (the settings menu is a bit janky)
-Some tracks have been completed (Temmie's theme, the intro's theme, the menu theme, and the background music for the first area)
-I have fully developed the Red and Blue SOUL modes, and mostly developed the Orange SOUL mode
-Almost all of Temmie's battle sprites and dialogue sprites have been completed
-The Save System is functionally completed, but the save point UI needs to be fleshed out a bit
Once I've given everything a fresh coat of paint (by which I mean replacing some placeholder sprites) I'll be able to actually show some stuff off!
