Hey Space Octopus Fans,

It's been a while since we launched this page and announced The Leeds Murder, and we have been working hard on getting it to you. We wanted to use this post to give an insight to where we are.

To answer this question first:
Why is this game taking so long?

Well making games is hard and it's especially hard when it is a side project. For those who have followed us over the years, you may remember when we were trying to make a bigger version of Do You Copy? that we eventually abandoned. That isn't happening this time as we had a clear plan and scope from the beginning. However, that scope was also a little bigger than we planned and we want to make sure we deliver the game.

So where are we?

We are coming up to what is called, Content Complete. This is when all the content is in the game is integrated and accounted for. What comes after this is then the Polish phase. We aren't adding in any more content, but assess the content that's there and seeing if we need to do any more work on it. After Polish is done it's then nothing but Bug Fixing to get the game as good as it can to all of you.

We want to make sure this is a good follow-up to Do You Copy? with the same type of mystery and lore you all love. We want the game to shine if you just go through the main steps, but be extremely rewarding for those who wish to explore and learn more.

So when is the game coming out?

That's hard to say. We wanted to get it out already and then we wanted to get it out by the end of the year. We already know that isn't happening. We are trying to get it done as quickly as we can though and when we are confident on what date we will hit, you will all be the first to know.
