PROTOTYPE DEMO UPDATE - DECEMBER 25

Hey everyone, I can finally work on time again, crazy, right? The game is getting developed!

Almost the entirety of this year I've been working on the music for the game, there's about an hours worth of music based on what my music library says, which is nice. But this month, I finally got RPGMaker MZ and now I can properly work on the game, I went through and rewrote the story a bit and overhauled and fixed a ton of issues the original prototype had. This is not a full demo at all, the real demo would be about an hour and a half long at minimum. You won't be missing much if you already played the prototype before back in March but I would suggest doing so, 'cause this represents the game a lot more.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the state the game is in right now, even if not much has changed, everything generally looks much better. Of course this is still extremely early in development so things might still change. I'll also be uploading the OST to Bandcamp, where you can buy it for the low price of 10 bucks, whenever a new update comes out that has new music, I'll update the Bandcamp release, so basically in 40 years when the game is out, you can play 10 dollars for a soundtrack album with 50+ songs. If you don't want to pay for the downloads, just stream the OST or pirate it,  I don't really care lol.

Happy holidays!

Changelog

- Made several story rewrites.

- Made several major bug fixes.

- Overhauled many visual elements.

- Added some new OST tracks.

- You can now obtain Game Jolt trophies. (ps: one of the trophies really should be earned when you're much further in the story, but you can technically unlock it as soon as possible.)

- The player can no longer access the menu during a cutscene.

- Added a short, optional, and probably annoying game you can play in your free time.

Mini Dev-log!

I've been working on accessibility for a bit, currently I'm copying ALL of the text from the game and putting them into a huge json file, that way the game would be easily translatable! This is a very tedious process but it'll be worth it.

christmas!

Some VRoid renders I got, thought they looked cool. (The Japan one is in fucking 8K... when it exported it crashed file explorer forcing me to restart my computer but it was worth it. The one you see here is *downscaled* to 4K)
