The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. [19] Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. [20] He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. [21] Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. [22] The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
To all of you that have already known, Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for all sins—past, present, and future—offering forgiveness for everything from murder to betrayal. Through faith, repentance, and confession, sins are forgiven and washed away, often described as becoming "as white as snow". Jesus paid for all sins, and God does not hold these sins against people, choosing to remember them no more.
Because while universal, the reception of this forgiveness requires confession, repentance, and faith in Jesus. the only sin deemed unforgivable is persistent, hardened unbelief or "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit," which is the rejection of God's grace.
God desires to forgive and, once forgiven, views believers as righteous through Christ.
Amen. When we stumble into actions that are sinful, reckless, or selfish, we should turn to God, seek His forgiveness, and confess our faults. Through Jesus Christ, we are fully forgiven—completely and legally restored.
