v1.4 of the game is now live, with much needed polish and an updated engine to offer increased performance!
Now at first glance you will probably notice the game seems pretty much the same overall, and it is, but it’s better than ever!

• Improved optimizations.

• Enhanced the 39Games logo.

• Fixed the warning text from popping up abruptly.

• Updated the text on the sound cue test.

• Fixed the invisible cursor on the Sound Cue Test/

• Enhanced the menu music.

• Changed the 4/0 mode and 4/20 mode text on the loading screen.

• Added a 4/25 mode text to the loading screen.

• Added a fifth star for 4/25 mode.

• Removed the old Five Nights Before Freddy’s 2 teaser.

• Added a screen for completing both 4/20 and 4/25 mode.

• Changed the font on various pieces of text.

• Fixed being able to click on Freddy’s nose even when Golden Freddy is present in the main menu.

• Sharpened the newspaper article.

• Updated most jumpscares with small animation changes.

• Increased the frame count of the static on cameras for a smoother animation.

• Removed an unused Baby Freddy jumpscare.

• Updated the blood borders on Foxy’s jumpscare and the game over screen.

• Added the Lullaby Waltz back into the game over screen like in the beta.

• Fixed the menu music playing when the game over screen fades out.

• Made a small change to the story section in the extras menu.

• Added a back button to the Endless Mode menu.

• Made the Night 8 ending fade out to the main menu automatically instead of requiring a game restart.

• Fixed the infamous Foxy crash (Seen on slower PCs and Android devices)

• Fixed a game save exploit.

• Fixed the signal interruption occuring during the tablet animation.

• Halved the duration of signal interruptions

• Added Golden Freddy’s jumpscare to the Extras Menu.

• Fixed phone calls remaining permanently muted if you mute them once.

• Adjusted the A.I. level buttons to work faster on the final night menu.

• Fixed the hard to click buttons on the final night menu.

• Buffed Foxy on the custom night.

This patch is the largest of all the QoF updates I will be releasing, the other game’s patches will be considerably smaller.
FNBF was my first project after all so could have done with the most polishing. I hope to begin work on FNBF2 next very soon, and help make it not a hot mess in my eyes.
