Some people who have benchmarking tools may have noticed something about DotD and asked: Why does the game run at 24 FPS, why not 30 or even 60?
To answer that, I need to let you know that DotD is programed in a legacy version of GameMaker that includes a bug on Windows 10 where the game runs at 66% the intended speed. I programed the game with that bug in mind, so when I went to compile it in the current GameMaker, which doesn't include that bug, I had to manually set the target speed to 24 FPS.
If the game runs at 30 FPS, then the game is running too fast, and is actually considered a bug. That's just what I get for making the game in an old GameMaker version.
So if you don't like it running at 24 FPS, tough luck. The game is meant to run at 24 FPS and not 30 FPS.
