that, and if u wanna test if your family would react well with you asking to use your chosen name instead (and coming out), ask them to call you a nickname thats relatively different. for example with my chosen name, asking to be called Ani instead of Dani. one closer enough thats a bit more feminine to see if your family would react well, just as a sort of stress test.
