Random question, but what's something you thought was true/real as a child but it wasn't?

I'll go first, when I was like 4 I thought car visors

[y'know this thing that blocks out the sun from your face] was like some sci-fi thing that made it so the sun was invisible or something like that. Some type of device even or something.

I never told anyone this weird imagination up until recently [my mom thought it was funny]. I have no idea where I thought of this either and I believed this until I was probably like 9-11 when I got taller and was like: "Wait... it just blocks out the sun. BRUH."

I was quite disappointed to be honest and I'm still not over it after all these years XD
