Only writing cuz I am NOT an artist
Swaps are based on relationships and counterparts, and mental changes are often dealing a single trait while keeping everything else. For example…
Maggs
Silly little plushie guy. He’s a mix of a cat and a mushroom, he’s also very asymmetrical. Never likes consistency in anything, even in morals. He uses “Dude” in almost every sentence, and is really dismissive of his own thoughts or feelings, caring more on the human feeling safe.
Asgore
He is the “ruler” of Antrum. (Latin for Cave. Toriel named the places in her first language.) He is like a parental figure to most, caring deeply for friends, which can usually be misread as love. However, if he ever gets serious, he can kill. He doesn’t like violence but can use it if it’s his last resort to his mind. He quietly walked away from his title as King from the absolute brokenness he felt from his children dying, even if they both were adopted.
Papyrus
Confident but mature. He has an ego, however he usually beats himself down with grounding himself at his situation. He is calm, and secretly a smoker as a cope to any stress. Only Sans and his “Secret friend” know about it. He also is a little anxious when it comes to Sans, knowing he’s naturally weak to physical attacks. Surprisingly never tired despite how the world treats him.
Sans
Immature but tries to put a realist persona. Usually ends up in him looking edgy when he’s quite the opposite. Sans is only his goofy self around people he trusts and knows. Sans cares for his brother a ton, rather letting him get hurt than Papyrus, regardless of his unfortunate brittleness on bones, causing the slightest bumps to snap his bones cleanly. He doesn’t do puzzles, opting for more, gadget filled traps.
Toriel
The Queen of the underground. While the King spot is technically up for grabs, nobody takes it in respect for Toriel. She did not personally the law to kill humans, it was Asgore’s anger speaking when he was mumbling to himself in his room. Toriel only made it a las when Asgore left, in a twisted way to remember Asgore. Toriel is very negative. Depression hit her hard. Her family were the light of her life, anyways.
That’s all I’m doing. This was just a random brain fart. I’m not making this into an actual take either, I’m already drowning in Glowtale Engines and songs for THE dusttale EVER.
