Welcome to my second ranking of the Five Nights at Maggie's games. This time we are focusing on the difficulty. So the games listed above here are the easier ones, whereas the ones in the bottom are the harder ones. Now... Let's get to it.
Five Nights at Maggie's (2016)

Repeating myself at this point would be redundant, so there's my little review comparing this to the reboot. SPOILER: I thought the reboot was better. Anyway...
Five Nights at Maggie's (2021)
Wow, for once, my favourite game in the series is placed low on a list? Yea, even someone like me, who loves this fnaf fan game to death, the more I played it, I began to realise a major flaw in this game. It's too easy. Sure, it's not the laughably bad kind of easy like FNaM '16, but it's still easy. You don't really have much to manage besides the door behind you and Hank and Flower heading to the vent, and Guppy and Chanchi's "Phantom BB/FNaF 1 Foxy" mechanics can easily be bypassed by keeping the door closed or quickly moving away from the camera. Sure, I think they appear in several cameras in a row, but they're still easy to avoid. Even more so since you can quickly press the number buttons to switch the cams. Hank and Flower do stop you from completely keeping the door shut (unless you had an old version where they didn't, remember FusionZGamer's videos? That was fun), but even then, dealing with them isn't that hard either. You just watch them on stage and try to find where they are... Except you don't even have to, the camera alerts them of where they are. And even if you DO miss them, you can just flash them under the vent a few more times. Unless, they BOTH go under there. But yea, FNaM '21, still a fantastic game, but the difficulty is one of its weak points. But then again, maybe that's a good thing? This IS chronologically the first game in this reboot series, so I guess this game can be seen as "the calm before the storm". But if you want my suggestion on how they could've made the difficulty better, maybe add one more thing you have to manage in the cameras? Other than that, I think the game is fine as is despite the few issues it has.
Five Nights at Maggie's 3 (2018)
This game has a zig-zag of a difficulty curve. What I mean is, Night 1 has a decent amount of difficulty, Night 2 is ridiculously easy and boring, Night 3 is hard because Crackie moves very quickly, and Night 5 has... Well it's fine in terms of difficulty. It's fine, but nothing special. Yeaaaa.... That's all I can say and think of... Uh. The Play with your Nightmares minigame is laughably easy. There's that.
Five Nights at Maggie's 2 (2016)
The difficulty here is, in my opinion, almost perfect. It's not too hard, it's not too easy. You only have a good amount of things to manage without it being overwhelmingly stressful. The game doesn't ask you to have high reflexes, just be capable. Around the later nights however, it does really test that reflex part. You have to carefully manage all the animatronics coming towards you since there's "3 types" of them, ones that go through the door, ones that go through the vent, and ones that hides in front of you. And you can technically deal with them all in 1 go. It feels nice to see that the animatronic at your door is gone now, and you manage to flash away Guppy, and flash away Cerdi/Jerry. All around, a mostly balanced game that does lean a little bit to it being hard.
Five Nights at Maggie's 4 (2020)
This game is really hard. Like, it'll give you some calm for the first nights, but around Nights 3-4, with the amount of things you are managing; the Carbon Monoxide meter, the music box audio, the locker, etc., you are IN for a hectic reflex management game. This game can make you panic and stressed, without feeling cheap or too much (at least for me). I can subjectively say that this is indeed the hardest game in the series. I still have issues trying to beat Nights 4-6. That's how difficult this game can get.
Now, if you are a fan game dev (or Manuel himself), just know this, you don't HAVE to make the most difficult game out there. Heck, sometimes, games benefit from being a little easy. This list was mostly done for fun, and not much more. While I can understand FNaM '21 for being as easy as it was, I honestly wouldn't mind FNaM 2R (R stands for reboot) to be a little more difficult. Not FNaF 2 levels of difficult, but just somewhat harder than FNaM '21 as this is a sequel/prequel/whatever Manuel decides. That's my take in it all.
Have a good day!
