bet they haven't even read the novel bc I get it if they've only watched the anime bc they do portray leonard as more of a 'playboy' or 'sassy' kind of character? I feel like the anime changed his character so much people started misinterpreting leonard

leonard is literally really smart too AND he was quite powerful at the beginning of the novel, and his character developement/change after volume one was interesting to see because he joined the red gloves as he wanted to become stronger and more powerful, but with a different group since his teammates died. he also got more serious too since maybe he acted like the way he acted before was because HE WAS YOUNG?? like of course young people will act like that and mess around a bit ESPECIALLY when your new teammate is around the same age as you !?? like imagine you've been working with people who are older or act more mature than you then you get a new teammate who actually matches your vibe

ALSO when leonard met klein again, OF COURSE HE WILL BE ATTACHED TO HIM AFTER HE THOUGHT HIS BEST FRIEND DIED?!? WHO WOULDNT LOOK OUT FOR THEIR BEST FRIEND AFTER WITNESSING THEM ALMOST DIE??
