Was I too harsh?

Let me back it up for a second.

I could honestly have really cared less, the fact it actually now came to affect is really crazy from the get go. Let me just tell you, it did already do too much for the world. And even if it's getting repealed right now and this would be outdated, why it doesn't work for right now.

First off, this pretty much lowered the attention spans of humans and made them so into there phones that they just became chaotic after losing a phone. Listen I did have Adhd and even before tik tok I was an IPad kid before IPad kids were even a thing. And yet I learned the hard way, my parents became VERY disappointed in me whenever I started having tantrums because I lost a game. Ever since then even when I was starting my scratch account (ig child's own account) I've became wise enough to use it (okay maybe not too wise at the time as I later got to realize how bad it actually is once I got my hands on Magma) that I became very aware of posting. It's a similar situation that Gen-alpha might be growing up in, only now it's times 5 I should say. With so much content nowadays it's basically easier to become addicted to there phones that it's harder to monitor anyways even with restrictions being placed. There is a digital solution that many companies go through but it also really brings another problem up.

The second thing is algorithms, trained by an ai and your data. It works similarly to gambling addictions, basically they will try to give you everything you want but sometimes they would put a outrageous or different idea up to the point you would either scroll more or find that video. They want to keep you invested in the site more, but that's not the only problem. This causes alot of trying to stay relevant an issue in today's society plus with growing rises of greed and envy for people, you still can do youtube and such here.

The problem about this tho is what this implies for us, basically speaking they can remove any social media from us from international apps if they deem it unconstitutional. Capcut for example, is own by the same company. Plus this means they can monitor our data. Great
