Hi, yes, it is me. I'm just working on freelance work, but I am still not proud of some of my actions, I've been working behind the scenes on this game with @Coderbro12 still! We announced a version 2.0 update earlier this year (June) But it never actually began development until recently, where I got off my ass and actually began work on the models for it. Yes version 2 will be 3D! and I'd be more than happy to show you guys some of the models!
Currently, the environments are our main focus. And yes these models are by me. I've been having fun genuinely joking with these models. We're hoping for version 2 to be both a lot better, a lot more balanced and pack more content than version 1, while still keeping the charm that the original version had. Nothing like a good ol' fangame for charm huh?
We aren't fully sure of the changed that will be made to version 2, but we do have some ideas. First is adding in PTLD night, Insomnia night and a secondary custom night for the PTLD night section! As well as making main gameplay changes to keep the game feeling nice.
When will version 2 release?
We are not sure yet, but it'll definitely be releasing 2025 seeing how we still need to get done most of the models. But that won't be a problem seeing how we're working fast on these models. Again we are making sure that version 2 will be 10x better than version 1, and I know that it'll be less hard and more balanced. I will admit for version 1, I kinda took over for game development, but I am realizing now while developing version 2, that this is a TEAM PROJECT between me and @Coderbro12 , and I can't take over development like that again.
What's this????
Anyways thats all for this devlog. I think from now on both me and @Coderbro12 will be more active on the gamepage together, we want you guys to come on this journey with us to complete the game. It's been a breathe of fresh air since I left the REALL. PRODUCTIONS team, well I didn't leave it, persay. But I stepped down from many of my roles for a while to really focus on both my mental health, and making myself a better person. I've learned from my mistake, especially from this game. To not be an asshole and to listen to the other persons criticism's (IE: @coderbro12 ) If this is what it takes to not only be a better person, but also a better game developer. Then I will take it.
Tubbyland holds a special place in my heart and I love it to death. I wish, I hope.... I know me and @Coderbro12 will make something special!
