Realm of Rulers 0.19

Realm of Rulers 0.19 update brings the world map, second wave of optimization, new UI graphics, and a large push to implement the queue of old quality of life/polish issues.

World Map

A key feature that has been requested time and time again is the world map.

0.19 introduces the first iteration of this system with key towns and points of interest marked out. In future updates you will be able to add your own custom markers.

Second Wave Optimization

One common suggestion is to push for better performance on lower end hardware.

We have worked many planned tweaks into this patch and we hope you find the performance and loading times better than before.

Quality of Life and Polish

There have been a few issues that have plagued the game for a very long time. As these issues have not had the priority they deserve we have pushed this patch to include fixes for these issues.

Some of the issues fixed were interfaces stacking and intractables not working when you exit out of interfaces.

More fixes are added every patch so keep your eyes out for new essential fixes!

Changelog:

  • Interfaces can now be reopened without first exiting the trigger area

  • Cooks now check for invalid cooking station objects

  • Blacksmiths now check for invalid forge objects

  • Fall damage is now working in multiplayer sessions

  • Fixed depth of field issues with far LOD trees

  • Optimized RAM usage and loading times

  • Removed floating trees from mountain cave

  • Potential fix for wolves chasing players on spawn

  • Optimized map file size by over 50%

  • Health and Stamina now bars fade in and out

  • Added the first pass World Map

  • Added attacking and gathering animations to multiplayer characters

  • Processed items are now dropped out in bags if the players inventory is full

  • Added new health and stamina bar graphics

  • Replaced depreciated AI movement functions

  • Fixed rare instance of interfaces overlapping
