Realm of Rulers 0.21

Realm of Rulers 0.21 update brings improvements to animals, new sounds, randomized citizen genders and various quality of life/polish fixes.

Wild Animals - Health and Loot

One of the features that was planned but only implemented for aggressive animals was the health system.

Now all animals have this system and now all animals drop loot bags on death.

We will be working with this system further to make more randomized loot with specific drop tables.

Randomized Citizen Genders

One feature that was requested many times in the past was the randomization of citizens’ genders. Previously miners and lumberjacks would always be male.

This was due to the time spent reworking the animations was too much and had too little priority compared to adding new features such as multiplayer and wild animals.

Citizens are now randomized giving a more diverse aspect to your empires population. In future updates we plan on making your citizens more personal with names and stats such as happiness, individual hunger and thirst, work efficiency and mood.

Overhauled Sounds

Some sound effects used in the game were old and outdated. We have now implemented higher quality sounds to improve the polish of the game and we don’t plan on stopping.

Every new update will now have improved sounds for all aspects of the game.

Improving the quality and experience of the game is our current priority.
