Guys, this is hard for me to admit, but I've finally decided that my departure will take place on May 28th - exactly the day I registered here before my account was taken down in November 2022.

I realized a long time ago that this is not the place where you can promote your creativity, which has little to nothing to do with games. Promotion here is monstrously unprocessed even for a person with an audience of 681 subscribers, and the maximum you get is 20-30 likes and a couple of comments like “Awesome, cool drawing probably?”....

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to a platform that has been a source of joy and frustration for me over the years. While I am constantly amazed by the incredible games and innovative ideas shared by people from all corners of the globe, I have also encountered an unpleasant undertone of drama, hate, and toxicity that has increasingly permeated this platform. The level of negativity and hostility I have encountered has become too unbearable for me. I believe that everyone has the right to feel safe and respected in their online communities, and unfortunately on GameJolt I no longer feel that way. The constant stream of negativity in my direction has taken a toll on my emotional well-being and I cannot in good conscience continue to subject myself to such. Please understand that my decision to leave is not a reflection of the entire community. I have met many wonderful and supportive people during my time here, and I am grateful for the friendships I have made along the way. I sincerely hope that the site's moderation takes steps to create a more open and respectful environment for its users in the future. Art and games should be a source of joy and inspiration, not a battleground for personal revenge and animosity. Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me on my creative journey! Я давно понял, что это не то место, где можно продвигать своё творчество, которое мало-мальски связано с играми. Продвижение здесь чудовищно непроработанное даже для человека с аудиторией в 681 подписчик, а максимум, что ты получишь, так это 20-30 лайков и пара комментариев по типу "Офигенно, круто рисуешь наверное?"...

С тяжелым сердцем я прощаюсь с платформой, которая была для меня источником радости и разочарований на протяжении многих лет. Хотя я постоянно поражаюсь невероятным играм и инновационным идеям, которыми делятся люди со всех уголков земного шара, я также столкнулся с неприятным подтекстом драмы, ненависти и токсичности, которые все больше проникают на эту платформу. Уровень негатива и враждебности, с которым я столкнулся, стал для меня слишком невыносимым. Я считаю, что каждый человек имеет право чувствовать себя в безопасности и уважаться в своих онлайн-сообществах, и, к сожалению, на GameJolt я больше не чувствую себя таковым. Постоянный поток негатива в мою сторону сказался на моем эмоциональном благополучии и я не могу с чистой совестью продолжать подвергать себя такому. Пожалуйста, поймите, что мое решение уйти не является отражением всего сообщества. За время моего пребывания здесь я встретил много замечательных и поддерживающих людей, и я благодарен за дружбу, которую приобрел на этом пути. Я искренне надеюсь, что модерация сайта предпримет шаги для создания более открытой и уважительной среды для своих пользователей в будущем. Искусство и игры должны быть источником радости и вдохновения, а не полем битвы для личной мести и вражды. Спасибо всем, кто поддерживал и воодушевлял меня на моем творческом пути!
