No this is not an April Fool's joke, this is official. I haven't played the game in a long time, since March 20 2025. But this news broke my heart... I never felt this sad in a long time. I have been playing Rec Room since I was like 6 years old, and this is truly heartbreaking. I am gonna play Rec Room on PC and VR before the shutdown on the 1st of June, and joy the memories I made while playing. And visit the Rec Room center for the last time... Goodbye Rec Room, and the memories you made.
