New Additions:
Added Controller Support (finally...)
A new option has been added in the Controller menu.
Some menus like if you want to retry or to quit to menu will require you to still use a mouse at the current moment.
Changes:
Hovering over Retry in the pause menu while with 1 lifes left will be marked as Grey.
Pausing the game will make the BG darker making it easier to see the pause option.
Updated 6-5 Escaping Cutscene. Samus should now not appear out of nowhere if the game view is set to 16:9
Extended the Last BG on the final 6-5 Cutscene for 16:9 so it doesn't look a bit off.
Reaching a Checkpoint as either Big or Fire Mario no longers plays the powerup sound effect.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed timer starting when selecting Retry while having only one life left.
Fixed unabling to go back a page in the settings when pressing either Ctrl or your set Run button
Fixed being able to see Mario still during 5-4 Cutscene after he gets teleported.
Also fixed 5-4 camera and also when skipping the title intro not already being in the middle on 4:3.
Extra Notes:
This update might require you to flip your run and jump keybind. Sorry in advance.
At the current moment. If you want to set different buttons for Jumping or Running on your controller. You will require to change them through settings.ini as there currently no way to change them in-game at the moment. Hopefully in a later update you should be able to customize controller buttons in-game.
Xbox Controllers are currently know to work well with this. I haven't been able to test either Dualshock or Joycons Controllers yet. If there any problem with these then please let me know.
Originally. This was going to be a small patch update. But since adding Controller support was a pain to deal with. I decided that this is pretty much a major update. Plus even after getting controller working I feel like that there still a lot to improve on code-wise.
No idea what's next for a next major update will be but you may expect some smaller minor updates for now.
Hope you enjoy the update!
