Five Nights at Wario's: Ultra Custom Night felt like my first true FNaW fangame that actually got the benefit of actually releasing, thanks to a team that I felt gave great support and progress, a team that I know is reliable. It's my proudest for a reason, and even if it's not entirely original, I can say that it is still my greatest.
Imagine what it would look like if I had just started out making my first ever FNaW fangame, no recognition, no team; basically nothing.
Some people know about A New Plan, some people have joined my community DURING the development of it and I thank those who have stuck around for the longest. Some of those same people also know that I often consider it my worst attempt of a fangame ever, I still hold true to that.
Recently, I wanted to look back at what it looks like back then before it got cancelled. The result? Remembering odd coding and design choices, it would be an understatement to say a lot of those choices were bad, really bad. It has essentially been the message to me in the future to not go overambitious and start small, which is often the advice I can give to literally anyone starting out Clickteam: start small.
A lot of it sucks as you can tell from the images, this was my first ever real attempt at a FNaW fangame and it's obviously very clear it is bad, oh so bad. I don't exactly have plans on reviving it, I don't even know if there is a future at all for this game.
I've decided to re-open up the A New Plan gamepage alongside setting all the packages to public, I believe it's a good piece of history about me and a direct message to read that when starting out, you start out small, then work your way up when you're confident.
Feel free to ask questions about it, I can't guarantee I can give a good answer, but I will give an answer.
