I'm currently writing this on a chromebook loaned to me by a friend, lying on a couch in my grandma's house. As you can tell, I'm still on vacation.
But I decided I should clarify my future as a game developer, as at the moment it may seem a bit unclear.
Lately, I have been meddling with other game development engines, and by others, I mean specifically Unity. I've actually gotten kind of good at it, and recently a lot of ideas have sparked in my head; good ideas. Original ideas, not poorly developed ripoffs of a popular horror franchise. And I've found myself becoming less and less connected to the development of FNaF fan games.
Does this mean I'll stop making FNaF fan games? No. At least, not yet. I still have a lot of fun developing these games, especially working with Clickteam and coming up with new, exciting ideas. Smokey's story has not been put to rest just yet. But once the Five Nights at Smokey's saga has finally been wrapped up...
Well, I think that may be the end of my FNaF fan game development.
Don't get me wrong, I'm going to miss it a lot. It's been such a blast developing these games, and I'm so glad I managed to make things that made a difference to people. But it'll make a much bigger difference if I come up with something new. I'm sorry if this is a disappointment to you, but it's the future I've decided for myself on this platform. And, of course, plans can always change.
Anyway, that's my plan for my future in game development. I really hope I can create some better things for the future.
Sincerely, your hopeful game dev,
-DKrazy
