Heya, folks. Today’s article is pretty complicated. ^^;

Following all of the recent events these past few weeks, EVERGREEN has been put into an interesting spot.

The sequel of this game takes place in a sort of crossover with another AU, called Dark Realm, from a close friend of mine, and my development partner, @shyphorra .

Or at least, that’s how it started.

Over time, my AU started to merge into theirs, and it became one big *complicated* thing.

And then there’s what happened these past weeks.

We’ve made the conscious decision to make the EVERGREEN/Dark Realm AU into an OU, or Original Universe.

So, what exactly does that mean?

First, it’ll mean a complete remaster of the first game with non-FNAFy elements. Next, we’ll need to update the overall story and style of these games.

We want to keep working on these games, but we sadly have to leave the FNAF community, and branch out to our own thing. So, we’ll have to make our story more original. That isn’t to say the overall structure isn’t gone. We’ve spent some serious time working on the story here, we ain’t wasting it.

From the release of the remake onward, this game will be tagged as EVERGREEN: Legacy Edition. It will remain completely free, obviously. We may make the original non-fan games Name Your Price, so folks who have no money can still experience our tale.

And of course, this is all very early planning and it’s subject to change.
