He can use the holes to suck in any liquids, using them like mouths. You can find them usually around swamps in the water or on the trees. Their size spans from 5 feet to 13 feet. When born they are around 2 feet. They can spend enough time in the water for plants to start to grow onto their legs, hence the leaves
