Rae Mae is a vampire devil fiend that randomly spawned on earth with the body she has already with no explanation whatsoever

she was kidnapped and sold to a rich family in Tokyo where she was abused psychologically physically and mentally, mistreated, and degraded. was trafficked to other people for short periods of time to do whatever the person demanded even if they were messed up and violent she couldn’t say no she didn’t know how to.
whenever someone did something wrong it was on her and she would be locked in a room for days and even weeks, she couldn’t even speak up for herself because she couldn’t speak or communicate properly, there was a rare occurrence where a cousin would visit the family and take pity on Rae Mae, teaching her how to speak and giving her a name after a couple of months of this the cousin randomly disappeared leaving her to the masses once again

she started to communicate and having a sarcastic tone with got her into even more trouble she didn’t even know she was doing it she just wanted to voice her concerns this made it difficult for clients to want her in they’re homes

one strange day she noticed that the family she was with had gone Ona vacation and left the door open… an idiotic thing to do, Rae Mae sprinted out and freed herself from then for the first time feeling happy and was shortly found by makima when a call about a devil sucking the blood of animals and humans

She took Rae Mae in she started working for her.

in exchange for Rae Mae working as a devil hunter makima and aki taught her how to speak properly as Rae Mae could only say few words. Rae Mae started to develop her own personality and style turning her into the little shit she is today. She grew to see aki as a brother figure she never had or knew she needed and she started to develop feelings for makima (she’s not gay or know what a sexuality is) it makes sense why she would I mean she basically saved her life. Rae Mae was slowly introduced to the other devils and hunters because she wasn’t very socialised at that point.

after Ellikisine joined they were parred together and even share an apartment (she use to live with aki so that she could be supervised) Rae Mae is currently still learning how to speak she and she carries a note book around with her to write in just in case she can’t say what she wants to say (she can’t spell properly tho)

ACADEMY SAGA:

she fully knows Japanese and can speak properly

she is more sarcastic and fits more into her “vampire” theme

she still struggles to speak but is teaching herself

she visits aki’s grave regularly as he was a big role in her life

she joined quanxi’s harem for security and because she trusts her

she still works for public safety

She hates how she was in the previous saga but still remeinaces

She’s controlled her powers more

she sees Ellikisine sometimes

would possibly get killed off during the saga

TRIVIA:

Rae Mae could possibly be autistic

she didn’t know what a devil was before makima and she thought she was a freak

she has ptsd but it rarely gets mentioned because she chooses to not remember what happened to her

shes cringe but free

She’s Abit inspired off of a random oc I saw on an artists toyhouse and 2D from gorillaz

The best way people describe her is looks like a teen buts acts like a child

She knows sign language

she is friends with ELLIKISINE and they are roommates

ellikisine helps her to get out words when she wants to speak sort of like a translator and she teaches her general stuff sometimes

KATSUKA is her closest friend, she was the first person Rae Mae was introduced to and liked

Katsuka is weirdly gentle and friendly with Rae Mae knowing her struggle she avoids making sexual jokes and induendos around her as she doesn’t want to ruin her innocence as it’s the cutest thing about Rae Mae

Katsuka gave Rae Mae her sense of style and fashion and they worked together before she met Ellikisine

TOSHIMI is a brother figure to her and she likes to mess with him sometimes she learns a lot for toshimi

rae Mae has some form of dyslexia

she can be cannibalistic at times even tho she doesn’t know what it means
