Research works like this:

When you get seen by a Twisted, you get 5%+ (10%+ if you’re playing as Rodger) research on them. This doesn’t stack! You’ll have to either see them again on the next floor, or next run to get this again.

There’s 2 research capsules for each Twisted on a floor. That means 2%+ (4%+ if you’re playing as Rodger) research if you get them both!

That means you get a total of 7% (14% if you’re Rodger) research every time you get that Twisted on a floor (if you get seen by it, and get their research capsules).

This means that getting chased by a Twisted for long periods of time does NOT give you more research (because I said it doesn’t stack)!!!

(And yes, I just found this all out yesterday 😢)

This means that I have to get Gourdy one more time, and Eclipse four more times (if I wasn’t playing as Rodger, I’d have to get Gourdy twice, and Eclipse 8 times, luckily I ain’t doing that)

And if you’re complaining about Rodger’s movement speed, easy fix. Equip pink bow and speedy shoes. Why? Cuz it makes him run faster. Why not dogplush and speedy shoes? Because that makes him WALK FASTER. What makes more sense:

Running faster than you walk

OR

Walking faster than you run

Exactly. And these are the only trinkets you need to worry about if you’re playing as Rodger. He doesn’t need extraction trinkets (that means Veemote) cuz he already has four star extraction. His stamina, Skill Check, and stealth are already an average 3 stars. In my opinion, using another trinket combo other than pink bow and speedy shoes for him makes no sense. This is just my preference, and trinkets all come down to what the player wants to do. So in the end of the day, I can keep my combo, and you keep yours if you don’t want to do my suggestion for Rodger.

Oh, and quick thing, I have all research for ALL THE TOONS (holidays included). Yes that’s correct. I have all of it. (Except for Dyle because I don’t worry about getting his card. I’m worried about the Halloween-ies right now. I shouldn’t have to explain Gourdy and Eclipse, because I just said I need their research.)
