Trigger Warning - Pet death, no heavy descriptions
I feel like nothing I could ever do can truly honor this cat the way that he deserves.
On the 12th of June, my mother and I adopted the best friend I could ever wish for. He was adopted as a therapy cat for me to recover from trauma (which I will not be talking about here because this is about him, not me.)
He was with me through some of the most challenging times of my life, even if he didn't live very long. He's done so much for me that I cannot express my gratitude. This cat changed my life. And I'm glad that I could own a cat this fantastic.
Today, at the time of writing this, we've buried him in a spot that we thought was best. This morning, he was hit by a car and succumbed to the wounds. Our neighbor found him and brought him to us.
He loved us, and we will love him back. Forever. ♥
