Greetings, fellow human beings! Welcome to your brand new Royal Bones branded extra spicy update! It’s been a little while since our last update, and I’ve been on my own little break. But, the game is now officially….

That’s right! Now we are officially back, you can expect to see more devlogs and more progress. Currently, the game features…

-45 Rooms in the overworld (Most are complete to basically complete)
-Several normal fights
-One out of two minibosses
-A clicker minigame, which was the reward for beating the April Fools! edition of RBFF
-The smell of death
-1.5/5 of the corruption areas
-Special completion stuff
-And probably more!

The goal of the first chapter of RBFF is to get you into the game’s newer ideas and mechanics, while also giving you a lot of content and charm.

This devlog was a bit light on content, so I thought it’d be a good idea to adress poll results!
8/6/18 Update-
Here it was asked when you guys would like the demo to come out, or at least the latest for it to come out. It was mostly July of next year, so the new official estimated/target release date is…
when the game is ready. So probably by that time, hahaha!

8/13/18 Update-
In this poll, you were asked about your favorite/who deserves most screentime of the blook family! The results were what I expected. Jared gets very little screentime, he basically appears for one or two puzzles. His bits are already coded in the game, so sorry to the Jared fans. Don’t worry, he’ll be in the game at several parts in the final version. Unstablook got more votes, and he gets his own miniboss fight. That’s already coded in, and he gets a decent bit of time for you to learn about him during his fight. Finally, Napstabot got the most votes. Napstabot will get the most screentime of the family in not just the demo, but he will appear a lot throughout the game. He has his own miniboss fight, which I’ll get to soon. So far, he has very little on his scenes coded in. He’s one of the big things left to do. On the subject of the Blook family, here’s their canon sprites!

Oh, and by the way. Napstabot’s inspiration came a tiny bit from Spongebob (the one halloween episode, you know the one), and Underfell Mettaton. Even though he has a bit of inspiration from UF! Mettaton, Napstabot is a nice guy. He still is Napstablook, after all.

If we could figure out how to stop this…
