Running around in circles

After running in circles for the past few days trying to figure out what type of game we should make. We’ve finally settled on something fairly close to our original intent. It even still fits the name we have given it. I’m working on prototyping the idea, and I was hoping to be able to finish the major functionality this evening, but as the night draws nigh (Muhahaha) tomorrow’s work schedule keeps butting in with alerts of the going ons and the preparations that needs doing.

In any case, we’ve been able to accomplish quite a bit today. It doesn’t look it, but that tends to be the case when only code related things are involved. Music is also on its way, which I’m personally quite excited about, because of the visuals we’ve chosen for the game, I believe a lot will rely on our ability to utilize scary sound effects. It might just end up slightly frightening after all, who knows. The kid in the game seems to be rattling slightly.

So ends this short little update. I’m hoping that tomorrow can be a bit more detailed as to what we’ve created. For now, just this gif animation of us running in circles.

EDIT: Changed Bold text to normal text

One of the most critical update for Sunblaze demo. Now you are able to pet a cat! Finally!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

I made a small jungle house.
