Sans: joined the guard not because he wanted to but because he was in debt To the king.

Mettaton: the hero that kinda showed up one day he works with the guard sometime but mainly works alone (to get his name known)

Chara: (boxed form) their body was originally made to be a battery but the royal scientist repurposed the battery for chara’s soul.
