Hi, Spice here. New owner of Scarlet Flare as a whole.

Scarlet Flare is not dead.

The team has been reorganised and a clear roadmap has been set out. We're making solid progress toward a demo release in the coming months.

The amount of directors and owners we've lost over the run of this project is pretty close to double digits but it stops here. We've been set back a bit losing our main battle spriter, however all current progress is still there and readily in the works. We're working on the demo as of right now and preparing the assets for it. It's been rocky, but Scarlet Flare, in the near purest form to the original, is finally coming close to completion.

I've decided to keep Rekindled in the title due to the symbolism it has for the team, and the amount of times we've had to essentially relight this project. But its still here and still burning.

To clear up any continued confusion, Scarlet Flare Rekindled is following more or less the original format of preboot. 3-phase endgame battle with story, design and musical adjustments
Yes this more or less renders it a Dusttrust take, cry about it I guess.

The focus is Sans but he's used as a platform to show what we really wanna show off, the Flare.

Since you all have had months of nothing, I'm gonna quickly speak about the Scarlet Flare itself, and how the concept has evolved. Not in too much detail since I plan for some secrets to be found via entry logs with a password system.

The Scarlet Flare is not a spell anymore. It is a magic-consuming parasite.

Scarlet Flare Rekindled could release, if everything goes smoothly and quickly, by the end of this year. But realistically, I see only a demo coming out in that time.
