In an alternative universe, after many failed termination attempts, the SCP Foundation was desparate in finding a way to kill SCP 682 since it was deemed to dangerous to let it live. That's how PROJECT ANTIKILL was born. PROJECT ANTIKILL had only one goal, terminate SCP 682 for good. The weapon was first built in 1968, but didn't find it's purpose until female director H. Genevieve had a conference about embodiments and how SCP 682 was one. The summary of the conference was kinda like this: "To kill SCP 682, we need to kill the concept behind it". Infact, SCP 682 was the embodiment of SCP 6820-A, also known as the Constant of Termination. PROJECT ANTIKILL was proposed for the elimination of SCP 682. The plan was simple, remove SCP 6820-A from the human consciousness (The Noosphere basically). Do i want to explain how 6820 works? Hell no. The weapon was activated in 2021. Dr. Charles Gears, however, had a feeling that the entity wasn't fully deleted and started to not trust the weapon, especially the ability of it being intelligent and, basically, reality bending. Unfortunately, it was too late. While 682 was deleted, 6820-A was starting to corrupt the weapon. And, since it was made to remain active forever, you know where this is going. SCP 6820 began to mutate and became sentient, but it wasn't on the Foundation's side anymore. After that, it started breaking havoc. The Foundation tried to disable the machine in every possible way, but, as we said before, SCP 6820 was meant to remain active forever. in 2022, SCP 6820 went into a rage state, and the Site needed to be evacuated. It was adapting too well. The Termination Attempt's document are lost, with only SCP 6820's thoughts in the documents.
