[September 2025] Mini-log —  Fullscreen mode


For several years working in this engine, I've had a problem switching to fullscreen mode; the screen usually became very blurry. The problem was solved with just one button in the game's global settings: switching from Direct3D 9 to 11.
So now you can enjoy pixels all over your wide screen.

Speaking of sprites, this is what the old versions looked like, even smaller and pot-bellied. At the moment I am more than happy with their appearance, but who knows, maybe they will change again someday.

Yesterday I was working on a small thing and made a mistake that limited the character to walking diagonally, which worked well for the stairs.

Well, I decided to go with a bigger version, but I still made it smaller so as not to take up too much space. Here's some animation. (I think I use small sprites somewhere, maybe for icons in the inventory?)

I have already posted about how I would like to see the chapters/missions selection screen, but I have a better idea, I think it will suit more.
