(This chapter takes place during the events of chapter 3.)

Black smoke fills the lab... Jaden and Kaylee emerge from the smoke, and are greeted by some camera bots. "Are you alright?" Jaden asked grabbing the time shard... "Well first of all, what the hell is going on, what was that thing that attacked us, and what is this armor you're wearing?!" Kaylee snapped... "That 'thing' was a Hybrid Host, and the armor is supposed to protect us from energy blasts, stabbing, etc." Jaden replied using the time shard to reverse his injury... "Well the armor didn't seem to do much good." Kaylee said in a sassy tone... "Well this armor not suitable for attacks from Hybrid Hosts, the normal Hosts maybe but... I don't think the regular Hosts are going to be much of a problem anymore..." Jaden said pointing towards a wall of monitors... Each monitor displays a camera bot POV, but most are down.

"For the time being, im going to show you around the place." Jaden said walking down a hall... Kaylee follows behind... "This is Titan repair." Jaden said. "Titan?" Kaylee asked curiously... "You'll see them soon. Right now they're getting upgraded." Jaden said. "What's their names?" Kaylee asked. "Titan Saffron, Vortex, and the Iron Titan who is currently missing." Jaden said. "What happened?" Kaylee asked... The alarms go off... "That's a story for later. For now go explore the place on your own, and if you find the armory feel free to, gather your weapons and armor." Jaden said running away.
