Should I Cut Back the Dialog a bit.


So in the process of developing this game, I had a lot of fun developing Chapter 1 and 2, but the most common bit of feedback I received was that there were to many encounters. So Chapter 3 and 4 I removed the random encounters in favor for scripted encounters and other forms of gameplay in an attempt to keep things fresh.
However, looking back at Chapter 3 now I am beginning to think its a bit to heavy on the dialog. Now grant it, players are rewarded for going thru the dialog with unique accessories, but I want to know what other people think. To much dialog, or just the right amount? (I won’t even ask if there is to little dialog xD)
