Slight Design Error FIXED


Hey again.

I updated the game to 1.1 which fixes a slight design error in the game.

When the lights are turned off, the control interface (W A S D) would disappear. When they’re on, they’ll appear.
The problem with this is that the player will get confused into thinking that they can’t move when the lights are off. And they’ll quickly get killed by the intruder if they don’t move away from them. (dang, I screwed up again)
The thing is, you CAN move while the lights are off (pitch-black darkness doesn’t physically handicap people)


Also here are some tips for beating the game (if you’re struggling right now):

  • MOVE AWAY from Dimitri at all costs. He will turn off the lights in some rooms as he explores your house. In a pitch-black darkness, a sound cue will play that he’s in the room you’re in. Get away from there IMMEDIATELY.

  • Do NOT turn on the lights when Dimitri is in the room you’re in. He’s just gonna get aggravated and quickly end your run.

  • One of the red ghosts will freeze your movement in a dark room. You only have a limited amount of time to QUICKLY spam the light on and off MANY times to get rid of it. Failure to do this will lure Dimitri into your location and result in gameover.

  • Level Two and Four requires you to keep watch on both monsters behind and in front of you until the elevator reaches destination. Make sure Dimitricus EX doesn’t get TOO close to you by just staring at him. And make sure the Watcher doesn’t catch you by also staring at him.

  • Level Three: Stop, Look, and Listen. Always check behind you from time to time to make sure no one is there.

  • If someone does appear behind you, just simply stare at them to keep them away.

  • If you hear DEMON NOISES, DO NOT MOVE until it’s gone. Then keep going forward until you reach the end.

In Hard Mode, the monsters are more aggressive. You must be very quick to react and be alert at all costs.
