The initial build for Sloth Patrol is now available for download. The game is a twin stick shooter set in the very distant future where a planet of sloths are forced to defend their homeworld from the evil Possum Empire. You play Julio Treewalker, the sloth’s top fighter pilot as he battles of possum ships.
The game consists of a short three level story campaign as well as an endless survival mode. The survival mode features online scorekeeping and ranking.
In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
