Small devlog for SHOWMAN'S: The Awakening!

Hey all, I hope the new year has started off well for you guys!

While development has been going slowly but surely, things have been moving forwards a lot more ever since November started. I'm trying my best to at least get something small done every day going forwards, as I'm hoping to get the game out at the end of this month or some time in February. As always, take that with a grain of salt, but I'm pretty confident it'll be out before March, unless something happens of course.

To be a bit more transparent, I am currently working on some major additions to the game, which is why news/teasers have been so slow. They're somewhat simple, but very experimental, and I'm hoping they'll turn out right in the end because I feel that they're incredibly important to this game now. So far, it's all looking pretty good despite being very early in the works.

Those and only a few more things I still need to finish up are the last things I need to do for this game. It's still going to be a while, but it's so much closer than it was a few months ago! It honestly feels so surreal being at such a point in development.

Fingers crossed development continues to go well!

Here's a look at Johnny's jumpscare alongside the revamped game over screen!

After a lot of brainstorming, I think I just figured out the basic idea for the gameplay of a multiplayer horror game I’ve had in mind for like 8 years now. So many amazing inspirations have popped up over the years which have really helped!

Just finished playing through the main levels of Astro Bot.

I actually got very emotional playing this game.

I got inspired by phobia long hours and drew the wiggles robots as glamrock robots, I hope you guys like these designs

Had to share this while working because Cap'n Cackle just looks genuinely so happy right here lol.

Really awesome how friendly or terrifying these guys can look with different lighting and texturing.
