Smoothing out Swunter movement

I’ve been working on my base platformer code to smooth out transitioning between different speeds. Like when transitioning from running to walking, walking to sneaking, etc.

Things are going well and I’m really glad I decided to do this. It already feels way better in my opinion. I still need to add wall jumping and double jumping into this and then I can handle the animations. After I’ve setup the animations I’ll post an update so you can check out the new system yourself and compare it to the current.

For now here’s a gif of what I’m working with so far. The only difference really here is the collision code was cleaned up a lot and transitioning between different speeds are working well.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.
