So big news!


So big news! We are moving Heketsu Boy to Godot instead! RPG maker has worn my patience thin in terms of lack of resources and how hard it is to have basic features without them costing a fortune or just an absolute pain to code. But the great thing about Godot is... It's free and has tons of resources that are exceeding my expectations in terms of quality. It's also easier to import assets and pixel art, while I might have to adjust a few things, it's no longer a f****g headache to do things! And so far the testing has gone really smoothly, and exporting assets have given few issues (I have to iron a few things out before things are finished) but basically it's just easy to make things and have more features ready out of the box!

However a few things must be addressed...

Game Progress

Things are go smoothly as of recent... For the most part 😅 We are still writing and considering things for Yue future, but we still have a lot of programming ahead of us. So in total the game is 20-30 perc completed. But we are making fast progress that will allow for a possible earlier window release 👀

I'm formulating the soundtrack with my amazingly talented composer! And we're making headway on songs that I had no idea we're even listed! But I'm behind the idea of production secrets 🤫

So my game has two main styles, this is mainly for a personal reason.

But I'm quite content with the current styles I've spent ages perfecting little details.

Also I'm working on a new promotional material image for the project, so look forward to that!
