Pros:
Gamejolt API can maybe be used (Trophies and whatnot, but I actually don't know if it works with GMS2 I'm just assuming it does)
Saving the game (which will let me make the game progressive)
More capabilities
Cons:
I’d have to rewrite the entire game, let alone the engine (I could find an engine that someone else made, but then the game loses some originality)
I'd have to buy a paid subscription in order to release the game
